Virtus Health has a career for you as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) If you are not currently certified as an RBT, we will provide the support and training to become certified prior to being hired.



Virtus Health provides ABA therapy for individuals diagnosed with Autism (ASD) or other developmental delays and behavioral challenges with a focus on clinical excellence, individualized treatment, and parent empowerment. As an RBT, you will work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disabilities and will be implementing individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA to help clients achieve individual goals and make a difference in the families we serve.


Due to our continued growth, Virtus Health is currently seeking certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for our Port Charlotte, FL facility.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provides one on one ABA therapy following individualized treatment plans developed by a Behavior analyst in order to increase desired skills and decrease challenging behaviors
  • Electronically collect data on client's behaviors and skill acquisition
  • Works in collaboration with other team member's to ensure the client's success
  • Maintains client clinical session notes and other daily documentation
  • May assist the Behavioral Analysts in developing reports and/or conducting assessments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma required. Associates or Bachelor Degree in Psychology or a related field is highly preferred.

Prior stable work history working as a Special Needs Paraprofessional or as a Registered Behavior Technician preferred

  • Ability to receive feedback and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Physical activity in the role is required including being able to stand, sit, bend stoop, push, pull and lift up to 50+ pounds from time to time and play/teach on the floor with a child.

Must be able to successfully complete a Level Two Background Check.

$ $27.00 per hour
