As a fashion designer, you develop and define fashion. With your sense for trends and your creative talent, you capture your ideas on paper or in design software. You create collections for major brands with commercial goals or cater to the increasing demand for custom-made and sustainable fashion.

Your training

In the basic training, the focus is on learning design principles and basic technologies of cutting and manufacturing. Afterwards, you will produce clothing using various processing techniques, develop model designs according to fashionable and functional criteria, and create clean cutting templates for patterned fabric cutting.

You will learn freehand and figurative drawing, photography, and how to use design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. In addition, we will teach you about marketing, presentation techniques, time and project management, as well as tools for planning fashion shows.
