Coal City is currently seeking a Head of Finance and Human Resources (m/f/d) for our Finance and Human Resources department.

In this role, you will be responsible for the professional, administrative, and operational coordination of our teams in finance, human resources, and company-wide process and quality management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing an experienced team of approximately 20 employees, reporting directly to management and executive leadership
  • Ensuring proper bookkeeping and preparation of financial reports in accordance with applicable standards, as well as compliance with tax and legal regulations
  • Managing human resources: providing employment contracts and salary forecasts, calculating performance bonuses and profit sharing
  • Administering vacation schedules and time management (using Sage HR tool)
  • Controlling key performance indicators and cost structures to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a mediumsized company
  • Strong knowledge of financial and tax regulations
  • Experience in human resources management and payroll administration
  • Proficiency in using HR software, preferably Sage HR
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in German and English
