SUMMARY The Pickleball Pro will be responsible for providing expert coaching, organizing clinics and workshops, and fostering a supportive and engaging environment for players of all levels. You'll also assist in developing training programs and strategies to enhance players' abilities and help them achieve their goals on the court.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conduct individual and group pickleball lessons, clinics, and workshops.
Evaluate players' strengths and weaknesses to tailor coaching strategies accordingly.
Develop personalized training plans to help players improve their skills and reach their potential.
Organize and facilitate pickleball tournaments and events.
Stay updated on the latest techniques, strategies, and equipment in the pickleball community.
Provide feedback and guidance to players to help them refine their game.
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth and development.
Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate programming and enhance the overall player experience.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

The Pickleball Pro must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to demonstrate they can perform the essential functions of the job, along with the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Extensive experience playing pickleball at a competitive level.
Proven coaching or teaching experience, preferably in pickleball or a related sport.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire players of all ages and skill levels.
Knowledge of pickleball rules, strategies, and techniques.
Passion for the sport and a commitment to helping others succeed.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
