The Community Outreach Associate of Home Helpers Home Care of Maryland partners with various skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), independent living communities, memory care units, hospice partners, home health agencies, rehab centers and hospitals in the state of Maryland to promote Home Helpers Home Care as the premier home care provider of choice to our professional network.

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of business development to include networking, sales, and community events to drive awareness and increase leads resulting in client acquisition into Home Helpers Home Care services.

You will proactively research, connect and build relationships with health and wellness partners in the market while educating local providers about the services and values of Home Helpers Home Care for seniors looking to stay independent wherever they call home.


Your typical day will be spent in and around communities in Howard County, Anne Arundel County and Montgomery County meeting professional partners.

You will balance follow up with professional referrals, social workers, case managers, community marketing directors and facilities discharge coordinators to ensure a smooth transition into our care.

You will participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans, community business plans and budgets to ensure that all resources are aligned with business goals.


  • Strong professional relationships with facility discharge coordinators, case managers, social workers are strongly preferred.
  • Registered nurses who desire to broaden career options and have professional relationships with skilled nursing facilities, hospice, home health agencies, rehab centers and hospitals are strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of demonstrated success in turning prospects into successful sales.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to make and support collaborative decisions as well as make decisions independently.
  • Ability to establish appropriate priorities and manage one's schedule to achieve expected results.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of five years' experience in outside sales or an equivalent combination of experience and education
