    Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ** Case Manager II **
    • Minimum of <1> year of experience required in case management of individuals with mental illness and disorders.
    This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA
    Responsibilities:A Day in the life of a Case Manager II:
    Provides activities and services that assist adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders to access needed psychiatric, medical, substance abuse, social, education, vocational, and other supports necessary to meeting basic needs. Completes clinical documentation in accordance with agency guidelines.

    Requirements for the Case Manager II:
    • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human services and at least 1 year experience working with the co-occurring population
    • Required: Valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record as reported by the DMV
    • Required: Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare billing requirements
    • Required: COVID vaccination or medical waiver
    • Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
    • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications for the Case Manager II:
    • Preferred: Knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects, and uses
    • Preferred: Knowledge of community resources
    Benefits:
