Summary:

A Judaic Studies' teacher (Morah) works under the direction of the Director of Torah L'Kulanu.

The teacher is responsible for carrying out instruction through implementing the curriculum set forth by Torah L'Kulanu and catering to the needs of each individual student.


Core Functions:


  • Maintain good order and respect among students, promote understanding of school's rules and values, safeguard health and safety, and develop relationships with and between students that are conducive to learning.
  • Plan for and guide the learning process to help students achieve program objectives.
  • Implement useful diagnostic and progress assessment measures, and mark and assess students work and development.
  • Provide and contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to the development and learning of individual students and groups of students.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:


  • B.A or B.S. from a university or college as well as Rabbinic Ordination.
  • 3 years' experience in field. Experience and M.S. preferred but not required.
  • Experience with special education.
