ABOUT THE ROLE:


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Recruitment Support:


  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, setting up background process.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, which includes preparing necessary documents and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Employee Record Maintenance and Safety Records
:


  • Maintain and update HR files and databases with employee contact information, schedules, and attendance records.
  • Ensure accurate and uptodate safetyrelated documentation, such as inspection reports, incident logs, and training records, to support regulatory compliance and internal safety reviews.

HR Administration:


  • Assist in the preparation and administration of performance reviews.
  • Provide clerical support to HR executives and maintain comprehensive employee records, both digital and hard copy.

Training and Development:


  • Identify training needs, develop programs to meet these needs, and monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions, ensuring all staff are educated on safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting
:


  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes.
  • Compile detailed reports on findings and recommend preventive measures.

Emergency Response Planning:


  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and emergency actions.
  • Coordinate emergency drills to ensure staff readiness and awareness.
  • Communication and Collaboration
:


  • Host the weekly safety meeting
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all safetyrelated issues.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to reinforce safety measures and promote a safetyconscious culture within the organization.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the mission of the program and organization.

Requirements:


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Safety, or a related field is
    preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, human resources administrative or safety role, preferably in an administrative or assistant capacity is
    required.

Skills:


  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and Google Suite, particularly Excel for data management and reporting is
    preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR and safety regulations and standards is
    preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to clearly convey information and instructions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Changes in the environment, such as the office or outdoors.
  • Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary
- up to 15-20 pounds at times.
