Responsibilities
- Launching in October 2024, the Heart Rhythm Device Nurse Fellowship at Mayo Clinic is an innovative program dedicated to optimizing cardiovascular implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) and providing educational experiences.
- The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating nursing care, patient education, and transitions of care, adhering to professional nursing practice standards. Leadership, delegation, and communication skills are essential for this role.
- Selected candidates will undergo a virtual interview process and must provide an updated resume, cover letter, and personal statement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of three years of clinical experience in cardiovascular nursing.
- Eligible for RN licensure in Arizona and committed to maintaining knowledge of advancements in the field.
- Additional qualifications include adaptability, leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and proficiency in communication and problem-solving.
Licensure/Certifications
- Current RN license as per state requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from recognized programs.
