- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and insights to inform content creation and communication strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on communication best practices and strategies.
- Play a lead role in key initiatives to ensure the internal communications needs are considered.
- Influence the outcomes by providing effective internal communications consultation.
- 15 years of professional experience in employee communications in Pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industry.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, content creation, channel strategy and digital media best practices, including how to adapt and optimize content delivery across channels and audiences.
- Strong leadership of, and collaboration with, internal team members and cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience designing and executing communications strategies in coordination with business partners in support of enterprise priorities.
- Acute business acumen and a deep understanding of organizational issues and how to resolve challenges among competing workstreams.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-directed with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple initiatives with competing priorities.
- High level of influence, accountability, responsibility, and ability to influence at the senior level.
- Proven experience working in a matrixed environment and operate within a complex, fast-paced and changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree and/or change management certification a plus.
