As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment, and attention to detail and adherence to proper food service procedures.

Job Summary:


Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager:

  • Assigning, training and supervising specific duties to culinary associates in a positive manner for efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Leading and assisting in the daily production for the restaurant.
  • Developing and training culinary staff on daily specials for the restaurant.
  • Ensuring proper storage (including temperature setting) and rotation of food products so as to comply with health department regulations.
  • Managing the kitchen employees
  • Ensuring the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work.
  • Participates in and supports all aspects of food service operations. Works with facility staff to provide optimal nutritional care and demonstrates excellent customer service to patients, guest and staff.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions; maintain attention and concentration for necessary periods; synthesize, coordinate, analyze and perform simple and repetitive tasks maintain a work pace appropriate to given workload.
  • Follows food service industry standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes. Avoids cross contamination of foods and adheres to personal hygiene requirements.
  • May be responsible for supervising one or more of the following: Cashiering, services in the retail area, supervising assembling, deliveries, performing cold food prep, performing catering functions and or delivering/picking up catered food, supporting department tasks as needed, including general cleaning equipment.

Required_


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in food handling or other related fields
  • Current (within the past 12 months) SERV safe Allergen Food Handler Certificate Required
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Cleaning Kitchens Background experience
  • Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must pass a Drug Test
  • Must pass a Background Check
