SALARY RANGE:
$20.00 TO $23.59 PER HOUR


POSITION VISION:


Claremont Graduate University is seeking a dynamic, student-centered team member to perform a broad range of administrative and fiscal tasks for the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation, including its affiliated Institutes.

Knowledge of the organization, policies, and procedures of the University is required, including technical specialties as outlined below.

This position will serve as part of a university community committed to providing a diverse student body with an exceptional student experience.


CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Process reimbursements for students in the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation.
  • Process expense reports for faculty reimbursements.
  • Prepare and submit spend authorizations for any expenses that are over $500, and for all travel.
  • Prepare all payroll paperwork related to grant funded and operating student employment.
  • Process supplier invoices.
  • Set up Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant in new positions.
  • Processing honorarium for outside examiners.
  • Approve students' timecards in Workday every other week.
  • Track student organization budgets and process reimbursements.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Process the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation's Student Travel Awards.
  • Prepare and revise budgets, receive and submit cash sales, reconcile accounts, and compare reports for "The Evaluator's Institute."
  • Purchase card management for faculty and staff expenses in the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation.
  • Track the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation's faculty research and development accounts.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred or any combination of education and experience meeting the requirements of the position.


EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative office position. Excellent customer service experience required.

HOURS:
The regular hours for this position are 8:30a.m. to 5p.m. Hours may vary due to needs of the school.

This position is on site with the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week with supervisor approval.


CLASSIFICATION AND STATUS:
This is a full-time, benefits based, hourly position.
