    Description

    Technical Manager

They are seeking a Technical Manager to oversee quality systems and process improvement initiatives, ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements.

    The Technical Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the site's quality systems and process improvement projects. This role includes leadership responsibilities for the Quality Manager and site QA technicians, ensuring the alignment of all activities with the company's strategic goals.

    Focus:


    • Lead safety initiatives, collaborating closely with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to maintain all relevant policies and ensure a safe working environment.


    • Oversee direct reports, encompassing performance evaluations, recruitment, salary management, training initiatives, and employee recognition


    • Oversee the Process Engineers and Quality Department, setting priorities and directing activities.


    • Formulate and execute proprietary strategies to enhance efficiency, minimize expenses, and optimize overall operational processes.


    • Ensure adherence to and manage the ongoing enhancement of the company's confidential Food Defense and Product Safety protocols.


    • Support Product Development by integrating manufacturing capabilities into design control for new projects.


    • Oversee the proprietary commercialization system at the site, handling all project specifications, orders, and initiatives


    • Supervise internal validations and experiments to optimize manufacturing processes.


    • Maintain the Quality System by ensuring compliance with customer requirements and conducting inspections and reviews.


    • Serve as an intermediary between multiple departments and clients, overseeing quality standards and production capabilities.


    • Manage the Corrective Action system, resolving quality concerns and complaints.

    Skill Set:


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.


    • Minimum of five years' experience in relevant manufacturing sectors.


    • Minimum of 5 years in the area of management.


    • Strong leadership and team management skills.


    • Capable of fostering a culture of high performance and an ongoing commitment to improvement


    • Able to communicate effectively using its resources to solve issues.


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and System Applications and Products in Data Processing.
