General Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational objectives. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems. Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems from cyber threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Provide network and systems support to ensure optimal performance of the IT infrastructure, Local Area Network (WAN), telephone and voice mail systems, PC's, printers, servers, hardware/software
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and resolving issues.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to endusers, resolving ITrelated issues in a timely and efficient manner. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance enduser skills and knowledge.
  • Troubleshooting of the Windows and Mac laptops, building networks, Microsoft's distributed systems and other cloud services.

Cost Control:
Develop and manage the IT department budget, allocating resources effectively and controlling costs. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Maintain all software licenses in use and retire licenses no longer in use.
  • Manage AV and hardware for conference rooms.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • IT certifications a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Indepth support experience and a solid general understanding of Microsoft Windows Architecture
  • Teams/SharePoint, Azure Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365) and Exchange 36
  • Experience using Intune and/or Jamf to manage Windows, mobile, and Mac endpoints
  • General understanding of supporting technologies: TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, Anti-Virus, and systems management.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong technical background in network administration, systems integration, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop plans to determine appropriate technology solutions.

Pay:
$115, $130,000.00 per year
