The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for assisting the Banquets and Food & Beverage Departments to set up and break down events.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be a productive member of the team by showing up on time, properly groomed and dressed, in a positive frame of mind
- Gather and set daily functions: placing tables and chairs, setting to specifications provided by manager and as indicated on event writeup documents
- Break down event spaces and return furniture, dishware, and décor to respective storage areas
- Stock storage rooms as needed and maintain organization within all storage spaces
- Clean member and event spaces
- Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members, other department employees, members, and guests
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Ability to understand the essential procedures of cleaning and sanitizing.
- Exposure to a private club environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able bend and reach for items off shelves
- Must be able to lift tables and chairs up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
