Description
Patient Financial CounselorLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Patient Financial Counselor for our healthcare client located in San Diego, CA. This will be a 12-month contract opportunity for our client and will be 100% onsite.
This role will be working directly with patients to assist with their patient account balances and insurance coverage and must have exceptional customer service.
RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years experience in medical billing and/or patient financial counseling required
Must have experience with MediCal insurance and authorizations
Microsoft Office experience required, EMR System experience desired
Skills
Excellent customer service experience, written and verbal communication
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced enviornment and multitask throughout the day
Strong attention to detail
Adaptable and able to problem-solve quickly in high pressure situations
Pay Details:
$22.00 to $26.00 per hour
