Description

Duties:
  • You will act as the main person in charge of the Procurement Requisition Branch.
  • You will collaborate closely with the 1071 Branch Head to ensure accurate inventory tracking is achieved through procurement.
  • You will engage with Division, Warfare Center, and NAVSEA leadership regarding procurement rules and processes.
  • You will lead small project teams to implement policy/process changes within the Property Management Division.
  • You will compile metrics and reports for command leadership to guarantee the correct handling of material procurements.
  • You will offer technical advice and guidance on Property Management functions and internal control systems.
  • You will create guidance material and conduct functional training for the Property Management Division and clients.

Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees will need to pass the E-Verify employment check.
  • Males born after a certain date must register for Selective Service.
  • Must obtain and maintain a security clearance before starting work.
  • This position may involve travel to different locations.
  • Will need to complete ethics orientation and submit a financial disclosure report.

Qualifications:

Additional information:

This role is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project within the NT-05 pay band, equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14 roles.

This is a mid-level position; salary may be capped at a GS-13 Step 10, currently $153,354.
This position falls under the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Multiple positions may be available.
