Summary

As the BI Reporting Analyst, you will help lead process improvement efforts with the Bundle Solutions reporting team.

You will develop and maintain business intelligence reporting frameworks, tools, and data cubes; work cross-functionally with various departments to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs; and ensure timely, high-quality reporting and analytics.

The BI Reporting Analyst ensures the business has the necessary data and information for monitoring providers, payers, claims, bundle management, and utilization management.


Your analytical thinking skills will be challenged as you will use multiple relational databases from various sources when creating business intelligence solutions.


Roles & Responsibilities
Data Management

  • Collaborate with the product team and other business units to advance the company's reporting capabilities and improve data accuracy.
  • Design data integration from multiple systems into manageable data warehouses for analytic data models.
  • Involved in data validation, data cleaning, and developing methodology for operational metrics.
  • Extract, transform, load, and blend data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and optimize T-SQL queries using views, stored procedures, indexes, and functions.
Business Intelligence Reporting

  • Analyze business processes and requirements to develop Power BI dashboards to present to management and other stakeholders.
  • Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge, including designing, building, and deploying BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools and data models)
  • Ensure the existing BI reporting platform is scalable and stable.
Project Management

  • Research outliers and identify root causes of issues identified in reports.
  • Educate endusers and leadership teams on the reports and increase understanding of informatics capabilities and performance metrics so they can better manage prospect/client needs and demands

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, MIS, informatics, or a related field is required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with complex SQL query writing.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Tableau, or Power BI).
  • Basic knowledge & experience with SSIS, ETL, and data cleansing.
  • Handson experience with OLAP, data visualization, data mining, and statistical analysis.
  • Minimum one (1) year working in the healthcare industry.
  • Quantitative analytic skills and a strong aptitude for analytical thinking and data skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and influence through vision and planning
  • The confidence to execute independently when needed
  • Proactive problemsolving skills and a willingness to 'figure it out'
  • A strong familiarity with using data from various relational databases.
  • Currently eligible to work in the USA without an employment visa, except for those with TN visas

  • A healthy mix of detail orientation and bigpicture/strategic thinking
  • A mix of industry experience and passion
  • Experience/exposure to SSAS a plus.
