Your Responsibilities

  • Independent planning, processing, coordination, and execution of location-specific projects
  • Budget planning and economic evaluation
  • Design of systems and their components, including creation of layout plans and P&I diagrams using CAD, as well as related specifications and calculations
  • Regular reporting on project status in meetings and through project management tools
  • Definition, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of external service providers
  • Review of technical services and implementation of necessary corrective measures
  • Assessment of project requirements in terms of time, cost, and technical feasibility
  • Conducting advanced risk analyses to ensure compliance with HSE guidelines at a hazardous materials facility
  • Compliance with relevant legal regulations and technical standards
  • Participation in location-specific continuous improvement measures (AkzoNobel ALPS)
  • Supporting the site management team in investment planning and proposals
  • Participation in environmental permit and notification procedures

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical studies in chemical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable degree
  • Extensive, long-term experience in project management or engineering in the chemical industry is mandatory
