Description

Essential Functions:

Illustrative duties may include, but are not restricted to, the following:

Prioritize independently to fast paced and changing demands
Complete the Procure-ToPay process
Perform data analysis to develop a strategic procurement and inventory plan
Issue Purchase Orders from a variety of departments (Engineering, Service, IT, Warehouse, Marketing, and Operations)
Ensure ontime product delivery
Ensure PO conforms to Company policy and/or Vendor Contractual Terms
Ensure purchases are most costeffective methods for obtaining goods
Assist in projects bids, and participate in negotiations
Develop close working relationships with internal customers
Identify, develop, and execute process improvements
Manage vendor relationships for office supplies and services

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Degree, Professional Certificate (ie. CPM, CPIM, etc.), or related experience
Experience: A minimum of 35 years of Purchasing experience
Computer Skills: Strong MS Office and ERP Software Skills
Communication

Skills: Must clearly communicate with suppliers and fellow employees in a professional/business manner both verbally and written form
