    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    • The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor plays a vital role as part of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for creating treatment and recovery plans and identifying behaviors that may hinder rehabilitation.
    • The ideal candidate should exhibit empathy and a strong commitment to resident care while offering guidance and assistance to our patients.
    • In addition to providing direction and support, the therapist will lead both individual and group therapy sessions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Managing all aspects of resident cases, from intake to discharge.
    • Evaluating patients' physical and behavioral health.
    • Developing suitable treatment and recovery plans.
    • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions.
    • Monitoring patient progress throughout treatment.
    • Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers.
    • Identifying behaviors that may impede treatment progress.
    • Assisting primary caregivers in addressing addiction-related behaviors.
    • Delivering services through telemedicine and on-site facility sessions.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Master's degree in social work or counseling (preferred).
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent.
    • Prior experience in treating substance abuse disorders.
    • Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
    • Experience with co-occurring physical and behavioral health issues.
    • Thorough understanding of drug and alcohol testing for treatment monitoring.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach.
    • Flexibility for some travel between facilities.
