Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Painter is to ensure all painting is performed to customer, regulatory and Mod-A-Can specifications.

Paint Shop Operator Job Responsibilities:

• Assure all part painting is done to the applicable specifications, regulations and customer prints.
• Work to improve overall business efficiency with the continuous improvement team.
• Perform inprocess and incoming material inspections as needed.
• Ensure required documentation and traceability is sufficient for products.
• Perform manual and computer data entry as needed.
• Support the AS9100 quality system requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Others as needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Familiar with aerospace quality standard AS9100 and NADCAP business environment a plus.
• Must have a minium of one year wet spray experience in aerospace or automotive.
• Ability to follow instructions from lead, read & speak English
• Ability to interpret customer prints, specifications and product labels.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Paint Shop Operator Authorities:

• Product conformity.
• Sign off on applicable router steps performed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform visual inspection.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to wear protective equipment when required.
• Be on feet for extended time periods.

$ $22.00 per hour
