As a Modality Support Admin your primary duties are to coordinate the maintenance and repair of the medical imaging equipment.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Coordinates service for equipment in need of repair or general maintenance with the OEM, 3rd party or in house service group
  • Purchases and coordinates delivery and returns of parts for repairs
  • Creates work orders and purchase orders for repairs.
  • Schedules internal engineers as well as external engineers/companies directly with sites to complete repairs in timely matter.
  • Willingness to be On Call on weekends occasionally.
  • Demonstrates competency in the performance of jobrelated skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
  • Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must be proficient in computer skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Must have strong communication and organization skills.
  • Has an understanding of what Medical Imaging equipment is a plus
  • Punctual attendance
  • Has 1 to 2 years' experience in service coordinating type roles is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.


DRESS ATTIRE:
Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department
