- Execute and oversee internal and external audits
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Participate in customer quality audits and address corrective action requests
- Update and refine internal processes based on evolving requirements
- Collaborate across departments to enhance product understanding and optimize production methods
- Track quality system metrics
- Review and align customer/industry standards with internal procedures
- Deliver training on ALIGN's quality system
- Conduct equipment calibrations to ensure compliance
- Evaluate customer returns, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures
- Validate internal and external test results as a company representative
- Develop departmental standard operating procedures
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and Preliminary Review Board (PRB) activities
- Complete mandatory and supervisor-assigned training
- High school diploma or GED; preferred Associates Degree or vocational/technical school certification
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or relevant fields
- Certification in auditing to AS9100D standard
- Thorough understanding of quality systems and unique processing requirements
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and procedure drafting
- Hands-on experience with investigative techniques like fishbone diagrams and 5-why's
- Professionalism and aerospace industry knowledge for effective third-party interactions
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with customer specifications and traveler documents
- Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions)
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Adherence to safety protocols
- Commitment to cleanliness and organization in the workspace
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of the company's Employee Handbook
