Senior Physician Internal Medicine (m/f/d) - Focus on Acute Geriatrics

The Bad Windsheim Clinic is a hospital for basic and standard care with a total of 135 beds. The main department of Internal Medicine and Acute Geriatrics has a total of 72 beds and an additional 6 intermediate care places, where approximately 1800 inpatients are treated annually. In addition, the clinic has a specialized department for geriatric rehabilitation with 28 beds. The Bad Windsheim Clinic works closely with the Neustadt a.d. Aisch Clinic, which is part of the municipal company, and is currently preparing to open a specialized geriatric department there.

Requirements

  • Specialist in Internal Medicine (m/f/d)
  • Specialization in Geriatrics desirable, but not mandatory - however, the additional qualification in Geriatrics should be obtained during the employment if not already acquired
  • Other specializations/further education are of interest but not mandatory
  • Enjoyment of practical and clinical work as well as working with older patients and their families
  • Commitment, communication skills, strong team spirit
  • Commitment to supervision, further education, and support of colleagues in specialist training
  • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary work
