Amidst the recession and the launch of the iPhone, the era of mobile advertising was just beginning. Despite the scarcity of venture capital for four individuals in India, we, at InMobi, forged ahead with passion and vision, reshaping the landscape of mobile phone usage and contributing to today's thriving app economy where consumers spend an average of 4.2 hours daily.

    Overview
    InMobi Exchange (IX) is recognized as one of the top mobile ad exchanges globally, with an extensive network covering thousands of mobile apps and generating nearly 100 billion ad impressions each month. InMobi is currently on the lookout for an innovative product leader to drive its mission, addressing the challenges present in today's ad tech industry.

    As the Director, Product Management, Exchange, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of our brand exchange, serving over 40,000 advertisers and agencies with campaigns targeting various objectives. Your responsibilities will include defining the overarching strategy on the buy side, managing crucial partnerships with data and reseller platforms, and developing solutions for addressability to enhance buyers' experiences. Your grasp of the entire funnel, from mobile app and web supply to meeting advertiser campaign goals in the programmatic landscape, will be essential.

    Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales will be vital as you develop and implement product strategies aligned with market trends and corporate objectives. Your deep insights into the ad-tech sector, combined with strong leadership and analytical skills, will drive our products towards success.

    This role presents a highly impactful opportunity, as your contributions will influence the next phase of a billion-dollar enterprise, propelling you towards a fast-track career in product leadership within the business and ad-tech sectors. Reporting to the VP of Product for IX, you will collaborate within a larger organizational structure covering product marketing and partner management functions.

    *This position is based in San Mateo, CA and does not offer remote work options.

    The impact you'll make

    • Craft and implement a thorough product roadmap for Brand Exchange products, aligning with the company's strategic objectives and market trends.
    • Engage with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to gather client feedback and translate it into valuable product enhancements.
    • Define and document detailed product requirements, ensuring they are precise, feasible, and cover all business use cases.
    • Collaborate closely with the engineering and design teams to oversee product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
    • Continuously assess product performance and customer feedback to pinpoint areas for enhancement and expansion.

    The experience we need

    • More than 7 years of experience as a Product Manager in the Advertising technology sector, with a proven track record of effectively launching and managing digital advertising products.
    • Thorough understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including ad exchanges, programmatic advertising, audience targeting, and RTB mechanisms.
    • Knowledge of various Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and their features to collaborate efficiently with partners and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
    • Familiarity with omnichannel supply and the evolving landscape of addressability solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to take ownership with a strong sense of accountability.
    • Effective problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. Outstanding communication abilities.
    • BA/BS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience. An MBA or M.S. degree would be a bonus.

    Award-winning culture, exceptional benefits Our compensation philosophy enables us to offer competitive salaries that encourage high performance while maintaining pay equity. Salaries are determined based on various factors such as role, experience, skills, and location.

    The base salary range for this role is from $255,500 USD to $365,000 USD (min to max base salary) for positions in California and New York*.

    *Salary ranges may vary depending on the final location, region, or remote roles as per geographical pay scale differentiations.

    In addition to competitive pay, eligible employees at InMobi may receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units.
