The operational division is the heart of Amazon. An efficient operation ensures that items are processed and delivered to our customers on time.

As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you will experience how all the different parts of the operation work and contribute to a smooth operation.

You will be the first point of contact for team members during their shift and help them follow the processes implemented by your managers.

You will gain practical experience and use analytical systems that contribute to the success of our company.

Key job responsibilities:

Measure and monitor workflow, track performance at the site, and provide important shift information to shift/area managers to ensure crossshift operational excellence
Support and train employees to perform at their best and supervise their daily tasks
Assist the shift/area manager in process improvement projects, promoting a safe work environment, and increasing employee engagement
Collaborate with other departments to find solutions to common problems or meet needs in key performance areas
Use data analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing safety, quality, and productivity

A day in the life:
As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you will work at one of our operational sites. You will support your shift/area manager in executing the shift plan.

You will help prepare shift meetings with your team and monitor procedures and processes to ensure that safety rules, quality assurance processes, and daily priorities are followed.

If you notice any issues, you will escalate them to your manager. Occasionally, you may also act as a shift manager and provide your employees
