    What You Will Do:

    Position Details:

    Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm with some overtime availableMentor trades workers in best practices in machining of work piecesEnsures efficient and quality machine shop services50% production machining.

    50% R&D, mfg.

    supportReceives requests for fabrication and/or repair of machinery, equipment, and/or component partsInspects work, in progress and completed, to ensure conformance to specificationsSupport other manufacturing departments with fixturing, tooling, and designAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problemsWorks closely with engineering team for new product development and design reviewPerforms related work as required including programming of G code through CAD/CAM softwareOther responsibilities, as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
    High School Diploma/GED required5 years' experience in manual machining5 years' in CNC machiningImmigration sponsorship not offered for this role

    Physical Demands:

    Normal working conditions absent extreme factors Must be able to see well enough to read reports, send emails, etc.

    Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees Must be able to lift up to 45lbs periodicallyRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Strong understanding of lean manufacturing concepts, tools, and applicationsProficiency in CAM software, specifically Fusion360Strong G/M coding and troubleshooting skillsExperience working with tight tolerances.

    +/-0.0005" or tighterExperience working with specialty alloy materials. Ex. Inconel, MP35N, etc.
