Sangaree Coding Specialist / Case Manager (m/f/d)


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Coding of diagnoses and procedures in accordance with current coding guidelines and recommendations, as well as release of cases for billing
Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions
Close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to optimize documentation of billing-relevant information and case management within the DRG/PEPP system
Processing of inquiries from payers and the Medical Service (MD), including correspondence and participation in on-site inspections


YOUR PROFILE
Degree in nursing or comparable practical experience
Completed further training as a coding specialist (m/f/d) desirable
Knowledge and experience in documenting relevant findings and procedures
Good understanding of clinical processes
Proficient in MS Office and common grouping software, or willingness to learn
Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, and commitment, as well as the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
