Description

Hotel lobby bar and restaurant seeking to add some servers/bartenders to our awesome staff.

We are looking for a friendly person who is a team player and willing to be a part of something bigger than themselves.

Server/Bartender


Requirements:

1-2 years server experience

1 year bartending experience preferred

Open availability to work on weekday's and weekend's, we need someone who is able to work on Sunday and Monday's

Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Setting up and shutting down space before and after service, perform opening/closing duties to ensure smooth service.
• Properly breaking down spaces and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
• Greeting guests as the enter the space, interacting with them in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Taking drink and food orders in a timely manner going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service
• Strong communication with the kitchen team, verbalizing guest complaints, allergies, time constraints, etc.
• Use tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy
• Restocking as needed throughout your shift.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs.
• Some knowledge of Spanish food, spirits culture is a plus.
• Understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu
• Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
• Use techniques to present and encourage current promotions to guests
• Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including but not limited to Square POS system
• Responsible for the security and reconciliation of the cash drawer
• Willing to prepare ingredients needed for cocktails.
• Strong knowledge of spirits and classic cocktails.
• Successfully complete alcohol awareness training

Pay:
$ $15.50 per hour
