Job Title:
Electrical Engineer (PE)

Location:
Altavista or Charlottesville, Virginia (On-site)

Salary:
$120,000 - $140,000 per yearResponsibilities:Collaborate with project teams to develop electrical system designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit analysis to ensure system integrity and reliability.
Review project plans and specifications to identify electrical design requirements and coordinate with other disciplines as needed.
Utilize Bluebeam for document management, markup, and collaboration throughout the design process.
Conduct site visits and field surveys to assess existing conditions and gather information for design purposes.
Provide technical expertise and support to project managers, clients, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a construction or engineering firm environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
