- Marketing and developing business regionally for the company.
- Managing electrical design activities within the office.
- Technically lead the staff and develop young engineers and engineering technicians
- Perform QA/QC on projects
- Designing complicated and various types of electrical systems utilized within the respective markets listed above
- Assist field staff, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to ensure compliance with specifications and design during construction
- Supplement and support several efforts within other departments and other business lines
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks and critical thinking
- Create and evolve system designs from concept to final construction document phase
- Perform analyses and apply problem solving techniques in order to develop creative, innovative solutions
- Electrical Engineering BS degree
- Professional Engineering License is required
- 8-10 years' experience in low-voltage building system electrical design
- Knowledge of local, state and federal codes and standards.
- Knowledge of Unified Facility Criteria a plus
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit required. SKM PowerTools Preferred
