- Lead, direct and assign employees in the completion of their responsibilities
- Set priorities, assign work to appropriate personnel, and set schedules for completion of work
- Manage fleet budgeting and cost controls as well as monitor paperwork for accuracy and compliance for internal and external work
- Train personnel in correct and safe operating procedures
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures for fleet maintenance
- Interact with operations to establish maintenance priorities and future equipment needs
- Maintain a parts inventory in an organized and cost effective manner. Lead the Fleet Shop in Safety D.O.T. Regulation Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulator, and organizational policies and procedures
- 5 years of related supervisory experience
- A Valid Class A CDL preferred
- Extensive knowledge of roll off, rear load and front load trucks
- Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and meet varying deadlines
