Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
We are looking for a candidate who is challenged by making efficient logistic plans in order to secure a swift time-to-market for ASML's newest products including the commercial product output and customer service requirements.
Shift Planning is responsible for executing production plans which meet requested outputs, control material availability during execution accordingly, troubleshoot and solve logistics disturbances, drive timely material escalations and provide feedback loop towards production planning on work center progress.
The sector Manufacturing within the Wilton Factory (WF) is responsible for the production of EXE, NXE, DUV, and APPS systems.
The Production Planner reports to the Manager Planning and works closely with Manufacturing (workstream owners, operators and TLs/GLs), Sourcing & Supply Chain Management, Material Handling, Warehouse and Production Logistics teams.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology .Roles and responsibilities
Responsible for the tactical planning, management and adjustment of production activities so that the agreed production plan is realized with minimum disturbances.
Controls material availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.
Acts as a representative for all Business Planning departments in shop floor tier meetings.
Manages the logistics processes of the factory by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse, monitoring the progress and processing the administration.
Analysis and optimization:
Ensure delivery performance of the bottleneck work centers such that optimum use of resource and critical situations can be dealt with.
Contributes to the improvement in material control, material planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.Reporting and communication:
Anticipates on problems and communicates these problems with the different departments to resolve them together with these departments.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree required. (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred), or equivalent experience.
0 - 2yrs work experience in factory logistics.
Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
Experience in planning and logistic processes within manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule- twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfu9lly perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses. Working under ISO 9000/14000 standards).
Operating/working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.
Working around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around chemicals.
The employee is occasionally required to move around the campus.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
May require travel dependent on company needs.
The environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level.
