Key Responsibilities
Collect field data to document work.
Perform instrument and pump calibrations.
Report on the progress of contractors and sub-contractors.
Document compliance with health and safety procedures.
Review waste shipment records, and containment logs.
Check for leak-tight integrity of containment systems.
Observe, monitor, and document activities by abatement workers.
Mobilize with sampling equipment, sample media, paperwork, to implement assigned field tasks.
You will collect air samples at abatement sites to monitor emissions and provide clearance.
Collect samples of bulk materials, particulates and dust, gases and vapors, air, water, and waste materials
Prepare spreadsheets and summaries of data and observations, and make comparisons to applicable regulatory standards and exposure levels.


Physical Requirements
Work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold)
Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds
Ability to carry and climb ladders
Use and control handheld power tools
Be able to wear a respirator, safety harness and other safety equipment, as needed
Stand for extended periods of time.


Key Credentials
EPA accreditations for asbestos inspector and contractor supervisor.
EPA certifications for lead-based paint risk assessor.
Licensure for asbestos and lead in Nevada, Utah, Colorado and California is preferred, but not required.
