    Description

    Position Details:

    Title: MS SQL Database Developer

    Location: Jacksonville, FL / Richmond, VA/ Chicago, IL- Hybrid

    Duration: 18 Months

    Compensation: 70.23/hour

    Interview Process: 2 Rounds

    Day-to-Day:

    • Develop and maintain TSQL code, covering stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, tables, and indexes.
    • Utilize SSIS and Bit Bucket for SQL Server Integration Services and version control.
    • Manage SQL Database operations, including backup, restore, log shipping, and log mirroring.
    • Collaborate with Business Analysts to design ETL programs for data sourcing.
    • Apply knowledge of infrastructure or product life cycle management domains if applicable; use tools like C# scripting, Tableau, and SSRS for reporting.

    Must Haves:

    • 7+ years of full-time experience in MS SQL development.
    • Proficiency in MSSQL Server 2012 or higher, including expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
    • Familiarity with Bit Bucket for version control and strong data analysis skills for writing complex queries.
    • Expertise in query tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization, with the ability to create and enhance stored procedures and functions.
    • Knowledge of database schema, tables, indexes, design patterns, indexes, cursors, triggers, and partitioned tables.
    • Experience with SQL Database operations, including backup, restore, log shipping, and log mirroring. Ability to work with large datasets, handle data transformation and validation, and knowledge of ETL processing, preferably using Autosys. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    Plusses:

    • Proficiency in C# scripting.
    • Experience with Tableau and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
    • Familiarity with the infrastructure or product life cycle management domain. End-of-life projects
