    Job DescriptionMBS is hiring a Manager of Controls Engineer in West Chester, OH. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
    FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead and manage a team of controls engineers responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into equipment designs.
    • Develop and implement standards and best practices for controls engineering processes.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the controls engineering team.
    • Oversee the design and programming of PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, and other control components.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to controls engineering.
    • Work closely with product management and sales teams to understand customer requirements.
    • Support the commissioning and installation of equipment at customer sites.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance control system performance.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in controls engineering.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience in controls engineering, including leadership or management role.
    • Strong technical expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, motion control systems, and industrial automation.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
    • Experience with control system design tools and software.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to controls engineering.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex control system projects.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and project installations.
