Papier- und Kartonfabrik Varel (PKV) is a medium-sized family-owned company with around 600 employees. We produce cardboard and corrugated paper from recycled paper using the most modern and environmentally friendly technologies for the German and international packaging industry. Our products are the heart of the packaging solutions for many well-known products. With an annual production capacity of over 930,000 tons on four modern production lines, we are one of the largest production sites in the European paper industry.


Your main tasks:


  • Control, maintenance, and cleaning of the process water treatment plant
  • Independent operation of the process control system and continuous monitoring of the process
  • Documentation and evaluation of deviations in the process flow
  • Conducting water analyses
  • Working in a fully continuous 5shift operation

Your profile:


  • Completed training, preferably as a specialist for wastewater technology, biologically or chemicallytechnical assistant, plant operator of a process water treatment plant, waste management specialist, or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant work experience in one of the mentioned professions
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • High willingness to learn and perform, as well as a strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
