    Summary of Position

    Lionsgate Television is seeking an Assistant to support attorneys in Television Legal Affairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the business side of television.

    Responsibilities


    • Track deal contract negotiations, maintain status reports, maintain Legal Affairs department files, and support department operations.
    • Handle administrative responsibilities for attorneys, including distributing contracts, answering phones, rolling calls, scheduling meetings, booking travel, and processing expenses.
    • Regularly draft correspondence and contract forms, ensuring all stakeholder requests (Internal Business Affairs, Production, and other departments, and External Partners etc.), are addressed.
    • Research historical deal terms to identify precedent.
    Qualifications and Skills


    • 1 year of assistant experience preferred, ideally having supported a legal organization
    • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience preferred
    • Candidate should have the ability to multi-task in an occasionally high pressure environment
    • Possess strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
    • Proficient at MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Should have a strong interest in the business side of television

    Lionsgate Television is one of the foremost third-party suppliers of premium scripted series to streaming, broadcast and cable platforms alike while also serving as a prolific supplier of premium content to Starz.

    Drawing upon its production partnerships with many of the top content creators, it supplies dozens of scripted series to more than 20 different network partners.
