Role and Responsibilities

Sales:


  • Assist in developing and implementing

Sales Strategy:
Create a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. This includes setting sales targets, identifying key markets, and formulating effective tactics to increase brand visibility and market share.

  • Lead Sales Team: Build and manage a highperforming sales team. Provide guidance, motivation, and support the sales team.
  • Monitor Sales performances: Regularly analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions as needed to optimize sales performance.

Maintain Client Relationships:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners. Collaborate with in-house graphic designer to create targeted sales campaigns that resonate with customers and drive sales.

  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the cannabis industry. Utilize this information to make informed decisions about pricing, product creation, and market expansion.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the company's product reach and distribution network. Evaluate potential partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions to accelerate sales growth.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant cannabis laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly recap reports on sales performance, market trends, and sales forecasts. Present these reports to the CEO and make data driven recommendations.
  • Learn the brand guidelines, company ethos, cultivation practices, strains, and what sets us apart from other companies in the industry.
  • Strategize with the CEO on monthly sales to promote a product.
  • Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with the CEO prepared to discuss the following:
  • Progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- "Successes" and "obstacles" from previous weeks' efforts


Marketing:


  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention in the cannabis industry.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the cannabis market.
  • Manage the creation and production of marketing materials, including promotional materials, and digital content.
  • Oversee social media channels and engage with followers to build brand loyalty and community engagement
  • Stay uptodate on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all marketing activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in Cannabis sales or related industry
  • Driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance

Required Skills:

Excellent time management skills, multi-tasking abilities and capable of organizing tasks within shifts. Ability to work on several requests simultaneously without losing focus. High attention to detail. Extremely organized. Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting/ Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Create and maintain a proactive and positive environment. Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while not overstepping the chain of command.


Summary of Role


As the Branded Sales & Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the sales team, driving revenue growth by 15% a month, and expanding our market presence for our branded cannabis products.

This position requires a deep understanding of the cannabis industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
