    About the Job

    Foxconn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced process engineer to join our Texas team. The primary responsibility of the process engineer will be to apply industrial engineering principles to optimize the manufacturing process and ensure maximum efficiency and quality in our operations. The successful candidate will have experience in process improvement and process mapping, as well as a solid understanding of industrial engineering concepts.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Analyze and evaluate the current operation process to identify areas of inefficiency and opportunities for improvement.
    • Use statistical analysis and process control tools to monitor and improve key process indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, defect rate, and yield.
    • Develop process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps.
    • Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decisions.
    • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that the manufacturer's procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvements to existing equipment, manufacturing methods, and tooling.
    • Participate in continuous improvement activities and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the repair team.
    • Performs duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mechanics, process, thermodynamics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
    • 1-3 years experience working as a Manufacturing engineer or related field.
    • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

    Preferred Skills and Abilities

    • Solid understanding of industrial engineering concepts such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and identify trends
    • Effective at developing and managing a project plan to achieve desired results.
    • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
    • Proven ability to achieve required objectives through the leadership of others.
    • Ability to communicate with production associates, build relationships, work within cross-functional teams, and gain consensus within work teams Relevant certifications related to the above-described duties are a plus.
    • Skilled with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
    • Ability to work very well with internal & external customers.
    • Experience with AutoCAD is desired.
    • Experience in production layout design is desired.
