    Description

    Role: Process Engineer

    Location: Houston TX

    Overview:

    We are looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our client's team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will focus on implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S/6S methodologies, and process flow mapping to enhance and optimize our operational processes. This position involves hands-on collaboration with the team to drive efficiency, boost productivity, and uphold quality standards.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S/6S methodologies to enhance operations.
    • Create and update process flow maps to pinpoint areas for improvement and streamline workflow.
    • Work with different teams to identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency.
    • Use data analysis and statistics to uncover inefficiencies and devise effective solutions.
    • Lead continuous improvement strategies to increase productivity, cut costs, and enhance performance.
    • Offer technical guidance to support process improvement initiatives.
    • Teach team members about Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to foster a culture of improvement.
    • Focus on quality assurance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering in automotive, industrial, or mechanical sectors.
    • Track record in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S/6S implementation.
    • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
    • Hands-on experience working with team members to enact process improvements.
    • Knowledge of process flow mapping and optimization techniques.
