- Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients to include evaluation, diagnosis and education
- Communicate with nursing staff and collaborating physician / specialist regarding patient care
- Chart daily visit notes in an electronic medical record in a timely fashion
- Minimum one-year pediatric NP experience, preferred
- Current Virginia NP License and unencumbered DEA License, required

About the job NP/PA- PediatricsThis busy, independent pediatric practice has been serving the Richmond community for over 30 years. Our team prides itself on unmatched customer service and providing the best experience for our patients and their families. Ensuring our families feel welcome and at home is at the very top of our priority list. We are seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a clinical setting, as the NP will be responsible for the successful management and care coordination of an assigned patient population. Experience is preferred but we are open to new graduates. There is always a physician available for consultation.
The NP schedule is four 8-hour days per week, which qualifies as full-time status and thus includes benefits. There is minimal call and no weekend hours.
