$169,362.01 to $210,600.00 per Year
Duties:
For small to medium-sized transportation engineering projects, ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Develop and manage scope and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. Represent the company during project execution to negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors.May telecommute.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a transit-related engineering occupation.
Position requires:
- Preparing civil engineering drawings including geometric, grading, drainage, signing & pavement marking and erosion & sediment control plans using CAD
- Preparing quantity takeoff and cost estimates
- Performing various engineering-related calculations and analysis
- Analyzing data, eliminating discrepancies and improbabilities, and preparing reports
Licenses:
Professional Engineering registration in DC, Maryland and Virginia is required.
