Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department.

Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.


GENERAL DUTIES:


Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the RN communicates and collaborates closely with physicians and other members of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, the RN accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients as a case manager to plan, implement and evaluate the care for all chronic wound patients.

The RN works within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follows all Paradigm (PMM), and Hospital policies and procedures.

He/she complies with Hospital and nursing philosophy and standards while performing job duties and responsibilities and demonstrates competence in key job areas.


Required Qualification:

Registered Nurse with current CA state license in good standing:


  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing:
-
American Heart Association BLS certificate (maintain current at all times):

  • Two (2) years' experience in acute care nursing
  • Experience in ambulatory care setting highly desirable
  • Able to complete a two person lift, wheelchair to exam table

Pay range:
$ $81.78 hourly

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience
