Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.
Have one year of construction or grounds maintenance experience using small tools and construction equipment, including some previous experience with concrete related construction, preferably with forming and finishing, block, brick, and masonry work.
Be able to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
Acknowledge this position is designated as Emergency Critical (EC) and if hired into the position, you must be immediately available to the department before, during, and after a declared emergency and/or disaster.

Desirable Qualifications

Preferred applicants:

Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency.
Possess and are willing to maintain a valid State of Florida Class
"A" Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Have some basic supervisory experience.
Have some computer knowledge.
