About the Department:
The Department of Pediatrics is a thriving academic department with over 100 full-time faculty and ranks in the top 10 nationally in NIH funding. Children are cared for at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, opened in 2011. The University of Minnesota campus is on the shores of the Mississippi River and the city of Minneapolis, a short distance away from St. Paul. Allergy & Immunology is the specialty focused on the evaluation and care of patients with allergic and immune-mediated diseases, including in-born errors of immunity.
