Job Title: Pediatric Radiologist at University of Minnesota Medical School
The Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School is looking for a full-time ABR board certified/eligible radiologist who has a keen interest in pediatric radiology. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will be determined based on qualifications and experience. We are seeking individuals who have a proven track record in teaching and scholarly productivity within the field of radiology.
The chosen candidate will primarily focus on a busy pediatric imaging service catering to both inpatients and outpatients. The role involves interpreting all imaging modalities and carrying out fluoroscopic procedures. Faculty members are encouraged to develop areas of specialization such as fetal MRI, cardiac imaging, and oncology imaging. While interventional radiology and neuroradiology are covered separately, interest in these areas is always appreciated. The pediatric radiology division currently consists of five full-time faculty members with an equal call coverage distribution.
Aside from clinical responsibilities, all faculty participate in teaching post-graduate and medical school students within a hospital setting. Opportunities for academic and clinical advancement are available. Faculty members are actively involved in specialty organizations, fostering an academic environment for medical students, residents, and fellow faculty members.
