Description

An early-stage software company located in Boston, MA is active in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their accounting department. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Accountant will be involved in month end close processing, ownership of accounts payable, account reconciliations, internal/ external audits and ad hoc reporting and analysis. The Senior Accountant is required to work out of the Boston office 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Will Include

Month end close preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Full ownership of accounts payable processing
Assist CFO with external and internal audits
Ad hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications

2+ years of corporate accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
