The Business Management of KBB GmbH is seeking a strategic and analytical thinker with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Social and Environmental Sustainability / CSRD Report Officer (m/f/d) at our location in Chincoteague, VA.

This position is initially limited to 2 years with the possibility of extension.


KBB has been certified according to the European environmental management system EMAS for 10 years and is committed to social sustainability as an employer.

With the introduction of the CSRD reporting for large companies, KBB will be obliged to implement the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) adopted by the EU Parliament internally from 2025 onwards.

To support the establishment of the associated sustainability reporting, KBB is looking for assistance.


Your tasks - shaping, participating and contributing.

  • Development of a comprehensive CSRD strategy
  • Content development of sustainability reporting, conducting associated materiality analyses for KBB stakeholders
  • Establishment of an internal system for determining CSRDrelevant data, setting up and managing corresponding processes, monitoring
  • Setting goals for environmental and social sustainability
  • Monitoring compliance with regulations and standards in the areas of social responsibility and environmental sustainability
  • Evaluation of all data in the area of environmental and social sustainability of KBB, assessment and integration within the CSRD
  • Writing the CSRD report for written and databased reports
  • Participation in existing EMAS committees
